Configuring Native Dialers
(for Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT)

Configuring Native Dialers is described in the Virtual Private Network Service Connectoid Guide (139 Kb), which provides information (including dial up scripts) for configuring Windows 95, 98, and NT Dial-Up Networking to connect to the service. You can also access only the dial up scripts (8 Kb). (Both documents are in .pdf Portable Document Format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader.)

  • AT&T strongly recommends using the AT&T WorldNet Connection Manager software to access AT&T VPN Service. The service is a technically complex offering. Using Dial-Up Networking by itself may prove confusing to the average end user.
  • We are constantly adding new dial-up Points of Presence (POPs) that you can use to reach your Virtual Private Network Service remotely; there is no integration of this "phonebook" with the native dialers. To download the most recent POPs list, see Access Numbers in the "Network Information" section of this Web site.

PDF files require the Adobe® Acrobat® Reader. Click the icon to download it from the Adobe Web site. If your company does not allow connections to sites on the Internet, you'll need to visit www.adobe.com from a Internet-enabled connection.
